Road Trip

We LOVE to travel!! And we love road trips.  We decided we would take advantage of Memorial Day vacation and go on a road trip! Our first stop was New Orleans.  New Orleans is full of yummy food and great music.  It has such a unique culture.

Our next stop was San Antonio. San Antonio is such a fun city.  The riverwalk is beautiful!! Great food and fun river taxi rides. And of course we visited the Alamo.  We love history so we always make it a point to visit historic sites.

A highlight was going to Fiesta Noche del Rio. It was such a fun show.  If you are ever in San Antonio, it is definitely worth seeing.

Our last stop on our way home was Mobile, AL.  I lived there for a few years as a kid.  It was fun spending time driving around and showing Jon where I lived, went to school and even the pool where I learned how to swim!  Before leaving Mobile, we stopped to tour the USS Alabama. It was a perfect thing to do on Memorial day!

It was a great road trip and we are already thinking about where we are going on our next road trip!

Happy Birthday, Hannah Cate!

We recently celebrated Hannah Cate's 8th birthday. What an amazing little girl!!! She is so beautiful and such a joy!!! We are so blessed to have her in our life! She also happens to be a part of one amazing family!!! It was so much fun to celebrate with them. And, of course, what 8 year old girl's birthday party is complete without an exciting game of football! It was such a perfect evening!

Nikita

A few weeks ago we had the wonderful privilege of photographing Nikita's baptism.  She is absolutely amazing and it was so much fun to be around her family.  It was such an honor to be with them and witness such a wonderful event! What an awesome girl and awesome family!

Christmas and New Year's

Wow, it has been a month since my last post.  I am still playing catch-up after the holidays.  I love the Christmas season.  It is truly the "most wonderful time of the year"!!!  It was so busy but so much fun!! We went with my family this year to Callaway Gardens to the Fantasy in Lights.  It was amazing! It was such a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Christmas on Jon's side is so much fun! We have 9 nieces and nephews and Christmas morning is always such a blast.  It was so much fun to see the excitement in all of the kids.  And the annual silly string war was lots of fun!

After Christmas it was off to Townsend, TN for my cousin's New Year's wedding.   It was such a beautiful and fun wedding and a great way to spend New Year's Eve.

It was such a wonderful holiday season.  I am so excited about this new year. We know that the Lord has such great things in store for us this year!!!

Family

We recently had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the Talley family.  It was very windy and rainy when we did these and they were such troopers!  They are such an amazing family!!! We love you!!!

Collins Family

This past Saturday, we got to take picture of the Collins.  We had so much fun!!!! They are all so amazing and such a joy to be around!! We love you all so much! Your family is such a blessing!!!

Fall Festival

Our church had a fall festival a few weeks ago and it was so much fun!!! The weather was perfect.  There were games and a chili cook-off.  We are still a little bummed we didn't win the cook-off, but are choosing to live in forgiveness. ;)  Thank you, Ronnie and Teresa for hosting such a wonderful party! It was a great night!!!!
